POETRY WORKSHOP: “Live in Readiness”
Poet Enid Osborn will share insights—and you are encouraged to share your own insights—about inviting the muse. Workshop includes Qigong, guided breath exercise, and short “organic writing” sessions in response to stimuli. Wear loose clothing and flat shoes for movement. Bring an open mind and your favorite pen. Paper will be provided—no laptops or devices will be used. You are not expected to create a finished poem or read your musings aloud, unless you wish to.
4:45 - 7:00 pm -- writing workshop
7:00 - 7:45 pm -- private reception for workshop participants
8:00 - 9:30 pm -- public reading (library will re-open and workshop participants will have an opportunity to read their work in the Fireplace Room)
