Join us for an evening of discussion with Bonnie Henderson and her talk "Hiking the Oregon Coast Trail"

From wide beaches to lush forests to windswept bluffs and dramatic sea stacks, the stunning coast of Oregon is emerging as the next great long-distance hiking experience. Author Bonnie Henderson is an expert on the Oregon Coast Trail and has just written the first guidebook for thru-hikers. Learn the ins and outs of hiking this trail, including when to go, where to camp, how to deal with bay mouths and gaps in the trail, and why this hike is her favorite.

Bonnie is an avid hiker and the author Hiking the Oregon Coast Trail and two other Oregon hiking guidebooks from Mountaineers Books as well as two nonfiction books from Oregon State University Press: The Next Tsunami: Living on a Restless Coast and and Strand: An Odyssey of Pacific Ocean Debris.
